WHY YOU SHOULD CREATE A BLOG
When it comes to making money online, having a blog is very important. There are many reasons why you need to create a blog. If you want to make money online, blogging is the most popular way people make money online. Are you are a seller? A blog will help buyers know more about you and your products. Do you see yourself as a writer? A blog will help readers discover your works. If you own a company, a blog will connect you to your customers. A blog will help you share ideas, get known and establish you as expert in your field. Almost everyone should have a reason to create a blog.
So in summary, everybody needs a blog! In this post, we will guide you on the most proficient method to make a blog in under 20 minutes.” 20 minutes is all you need, not more than that. Please note, when we say 20 minutes, we mean the time it takes you to create a blog, set it up and prepare to begin blogging. It does include the time you spend on composing posts and all that. The 20 minutes is from stage 5 to stage 7 in this post.
There is one fundamental impediment that keeps individuals from venturing into blogging. There is the believe that it is too hard to even think about creating a blog, too difficult to even consider running it and too hard to even consider maintaining. That is a long way from reality. Blogging is one of the most easiest things to do. Exceptionally simple. As simple as putting food into mouth.
The goal of this post is to enable you to begin with your blog and we will give a step by step guide on the best way to create a blog. It will be our joy if you follow through, prevail with regards to setting up your blog and exceed expectations. We trust you will share your experience to us. How about we begin on how to create a blog.
BEFORE YOU CREATE A BLOG, PICK A NICHE
The first step to create your very own blog is to pick a niche. To choose what you need to blog about. From my experience, this is the MOST IMPORTANT PART of blogging. Since this is the part that will decide whether you get exhausted or become weary of blogging. This is the part that will prop you up notwithstanding when you have a craving for giving up. This is the part that will give your blogging life a reason. For the individuals who skip this part, they open a blog today and tomorrow, they wear out.
You need to glance through you. For what reason would you like to start a blog? What is that thing that you are most enthusiastic about? It is safe to say that you truly know about it? Do you consider yourself to be an expert? Will you learn and develop in it?
If your passion is football and you choose to blog about wrestling which you don’t fancy, all things considered, you will get worn out before the blog stand an opportunity to be effective. So if your passion is money blog about finance. If your mastery is Movies, blog about films. You love news, open a news blog. If you love music, open an entertainment blog.
The greatest mistake you can make is to open a news blog since everybody is doing it! No! Truth be told, smaller niche blog get more cash than wide niche like news except if you have a major spending plan and connections. So define your niche as indicated by your passion and interest.
STEPS TO CREATE A BLOG
Follow these Steps to make a blog
1. Pick A PLATFORM (WE RECOMMEND WORDPRESS)
The next step to create a blog is for you to choose which platform you are going to use for your blog. For the goal of this guide, we will utilize wordpress. It is our recommended platform. There are numerous other platform, for example, Drupal, blogger and the rest yet we emphatically recommend WordPress and this is the reason.
WordPress is by far the most utilized platform. Indeed, even the big sites you have visited are likely using wordpress. CNN, facebook uses wordpress. There are more than 72 million wordpress users. That can only mean one thing, a vote of confidence. It likewise extends life span. It won’t simply blur and fall off. Since there are numerous users on it, it will continue being maintained. Take a look at the diagram below to see how wordpress compares with other blogging platform:
It is also important to take note of that wordpress is very easy to use. There are loads of free themes, free plugins and many freebies in wordpress to enable you to make the best of blogging.
One of the most importantfactor in blogging is security. WordPress is secure. It is supported by a solid team who regularly updates the CMS.
Another imperative thing is, with wordpress you have the ability to customize and build anything you desire. No restrictions. You can set out to construct anything! The opportunity is astonishing!
Please note: we are not saying other platforms are bad, they are great yet for us, wordpress tops the list. We firmly advice you to use wordpress at whatever point you need to create a blog.
When you have decided to go with wordpress, there is one more issue we need to deal with: Free wordpress or self hosted wordpress (WordPress.com VS WordPress.org)
Free Blog VS Self Hosted
This may sound a little confusing however don’t worry. Free blog is what you find at wordpress.com and self hosted is what you find at wordpress.org. Both of them are wordpress yet with numerous differences you ought to consider. For the goal of this guide, we suggest and advice you go with Self hosted blog. Never go with the free blog except if you are not planing to have any big effect with blogging.
As the name infers “free blogs” is something you are given to use but it isn’t yours. You can’t control it since it is somebody’s very own and you are just being allowed to use it. Then again, the name ‘Self hosted’ infers that you own it. You own it and can use it as you want! It will always be yours! Nobody can take it from you.
Free blogs comes a long domain name, for instance www.bibsonforreal.wordpress.com while self hosted is always with a brand and simple to recall domain name, for instance www.facebook.com.
On free blogs you don’t control your content, wordpress does. They can limit what you upload and more yet on Self hosted you control everything!
On free blogs you wont be able to put adverts and make money because of limitations however on self hosted you can put as many adverts as you want, make lot of money as you need.
On free version, you wont be able to customize your blog to your taste, there are limitations. In any case, on self hosted, you can customize and do anything you desire with your blog.

The most important thing in your blog will be your content. Whether video, posts or images. Content is the first SEO. Make sure you write quality content. Research your topics as an expert and make sure that you make an impact on everyone who visits through your content. Never copy and paste articles from other websites, it will not take long, Google and other search engines will notice and punish your blog for it! That is why step one is important.
You can quote from other articles and link to them, but never steal their full articles without permission. It is bad.
DRIVE TRAFFIC TO YOUR BLOG
Traffic is key. Traffic is the people coming to your blog. The first step to get people to come to your blog is through content. With time, search engine will send your visitors through your contents. But there are also other things you should do.
Create a Facebook page, twitter page and other social media for your blog. A facebook group is also okay. Invite your friends and people to the page then share links to different contents on your blog there.
Try to engage in SEO. if you have a good budget, you can invest in adword and facebook ads but that is not necessary unless you are in a big hurry.
It is important to keep learning. Information is key and everyday, information gets updated. For example, we will be updating this post as much as we can with new information. Research, learn and grow.
